How is this calculated?
Annual consumption = Monthly bill × 12 ÷ Tariff
System size = Annual consumption × 80% ÷ Local solar yield (kWh/kWp/yr) — capped at 10.8 kWp (Greek single-phase grid limit)
Self-consumed = the portion used on-site during generation hours — capped at the self-consumption % of household demand (default 70%, editable in Assumptions below).
Annual savings = (Self-consumed kWh × Tariff) + (Exported kWh × Export rate)
Payback period = System cost ÷ Annual savings
