Understanding search results, installer badges, and how Techs.Solar works for you.

Verified Local — this installer's business is registered in your area. They actually work here.

Founding Member — this installer joined Techs.Solar during our launch phase. They committed to the platform when it was new.

Exclusively serving [area] — this is the only above-fold installer in your area right now — others appear below.

The badges are visible trust signals. None of them indicate work quality — for that, look at reviews and project photos.
Installers who pay for territory placement (Verified Local, Claim, Exclusive) appear above the fold in your search. Installers on the free tier appear below the fold in organic results, ranked by reviews and profile completeness. Paid placement doesn't mean they're better — it means they invested in being visible. Always read reviews and check project photos before reaching out.
Installers can hold multiple credentials simultaneously. For example, an installer might be both Verified Local (registered in your area) and a Founding Member (joined the platform early). The badges stack on their profile.
Founding Members are installers who joined Techs.Solar during the platform's early launch phase. They committed to the platform's success and we recognise their early support with a permanent badge. It's not a quality rating — quality is shown via reviews — but it signals long-term presence on the platform.
No — it means this installer holds the Exclusive subscription for above-fold placement in your area. Other installers can still serve you; you can see them below the fold in the same search results, and you can absolutely contact any of them. The Exclusive badge is about platform placement, not exclusive operational rights.
Every installer's distance from your address is shown on their listing. The Verified Local badge specifically means the installer is VAT-registered in your municipality. "Serves [area]" means they cover your area from a nearby base. We never hide distance — you decide what "local enough" means for your project.
Scroll past the above-fold results — all installers serving your area appear in the organic results below, ranked by reviews and profile completeness. Many great installers choose not to pay for territory placement.
When installers buy equipment together via a Group Purchase Order, the money is held in a smart-contract escrow on a public ledger, in MiCA-regulated EUR e-money. Techs.Solar never holds the funds itself. The contract releases payments to the supplier only when delivery milestones are confirmed by two independent parties. If a deadline is missed, refunds activate automatically — no committee or support ticket needed.
No. The euros stay euros — MiCA-regulated EUR e-money, fully reserved, issued by an authorised EU institution (Monerium), redeemable 1:1 by law at any time. The public ledger is used only to enforce the rules of the escrow. There is no currency volatility, no exchange rate, no crypto wallet required.
MiCA stands for Markets in Crypto-Assets — the EU's 2024 regulation that establishes a unified legal framework for e-money tokens and stablecoins across all EU member states. Under MiCA, an issuer of EUR e-money must be authorised as an electronic money institution, maintain 1:1 reserves, and allow holders to redeem at par by law. Monerium, which issues the EURe tokens used in Techs.Solar's GPO escrow, is fully MiCA-authorised.
