1. Acceptance

By using Techs.Solar (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users: homeowners submitting quote requests and installers maintaining listings.

2. The Platform

Techs.Solar is a directory and lead-generation platform. We connect homeowners seeking solar installations with self-listed solar installation businesses. We are not a party to any contract between homeowners and installers. We do not vet, guarantee, or warrant any work performed by listed installers. We also operate a Group Purchasing Order (GPO) programme through which installers may jointly procure equipment at wholesale pricing (see section 13).

3. Installer accounts

  • You must be a legitimate solar installation business operating in the country where you list.
  • Your profile must be accurate and up to date. False certifications or misleading claims are grounds for immediate removal.
  • You are responsible for responding to leads promptly and professionally.
  • One account per business. Creating duplicate accounts is prohibited.

4. Pricing and payment

  • Free tier: Available indefinitely. Limited to 3 leads per calendar month.
  • Early Bird: €149/yr excl. VAT, charged at sign-up. Founding Member benefits (permanent badge, €149/yr rate locked for 3 years, priority placement, LAU-for-life entitlement) are activated immediately. Homeowner-facing search and lead distribution open in your country when techs.solar formally launches operations there.

    Annual recurring + delivery pause: annual €149 charges occur on each anniversary of your sign-up date IF techs.solar has launched in your country. If your country has not launched by the renewal date, the annual charge is paused and your subscription extends free until the next anniversary. This delivery-pause mechanism continues for up to a 36-month total ceiling from your initial charge date.

    Year-3 conversion: after 3 years of paid service at the locked Founding Member rate, your subscription renews at the then-current standard plan price (currently €298/yr). You will receive a 60-day notice email before the conversion charge.

    If we never launch in your country within 36 months of your initial charge date: your Founding Member subscription quietly expires. No further charges are made. The Founding Member badge remains on your account as record of your early support. You may re-subscribe at the then-current standard plan price if you wish to continue.

    14-day money-back guarantee (techs.solar policy): full refund available within 14 days of payment for any reason.
  • Standard: €298/yr excl. VAT, charged at sign-up. Same model as Early Bird above: annual recurring with delivery-pause mechanism (annual charges paused if your country has not launched), 36-month total ceiling, quiet-expiry if we never launch in your country within that window, year-3 conversion to then-current standard plan price, same 14-day money-back guarantee.
  • All prices are exclusive of VAT. VAT is applied at checkout at the rate applicable to your country and business registration status.
  • 14-day money-back guarantee: full refund available within 14 days of initial payment for any reason. Contact support to request a refund.
  • Techs.Solar is a digital service. Access to your subscription features is activated immediately upon successful payment confirmation. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no further charges are made.

5. Homeowner use

  • Quote requests must be genuine. Spam submissions or testing are prohibited.
  • We forward your contact details to the installer you select. By submitting a quote request, you consent to this.
  • We are not responsible for quotes provided by installers, or for any work performed.

6. Prohibited conduct

  • Scraping, crawling, or automated access beyond normal browser use.
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or attack the Platform.
  • Submitting false reviews or manipulating ratings.
  • Using the Platform to distribute spam or malware.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Techs.Solar is not liable for: (a) the quality of work performed by listed installers; (b) indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Platform use; (c) loss of data or business interruption. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or at our discretion with 30 days' notice for paid accounts. Installers may delete their account at any time from the portal settings.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Greek law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.

11. Google Drive integration

The optional Google Drive mirror is provided as-is. By connecting your Google account you accept joint responsibility for the mirrored data under GDPR Article 26 (joint controllers). Disconnecting stops future syncs; previously mirrored files remain in your Drive and are not deleted by Techs.Solar.

12. Territory Rights

Installers who subscribe to a Territory Right (Claim or Exclusive municipality placement) are additionally governed by the Territory Terms of Service, which supplement and form part of these Terms of Service.

13. Group Purchasing Orders (GPO)

Techs.Solar operates a Group Purchasing Order (GPO) programme that lets installers pool orders for wholesale procurement. Participation in any GPO is separate from these Terms and from your platform subscription, and is governed exclusively by the Member Agreement you sign for that GPO — the binding contract covering your commitment, the escrow settlement of funds, fees, refunds, default, and governing law. Funds you commit to a GPO are held in escrow and released or refunded strictly under that Member Agreement; they are not platform subscription charges and are not handled under section 4 (Pricing and payment). Where these Terms and a signed Member Agreement conflict in respect of a GPO, the Member Agreement prevails.
